Wow, my last post was putting up the “Welcome Home” video.
I haven’t thought of blogging or titles or posts in a bit.
And, Justin has been happy enough to post about our trip. He likes blogging about something more than everyday life with the kids.
I’m sure some of you might be confused on how to tell the difference when Justin blogs and when I do. It’s actually really simple.
When I blog, I post pictures and make short comments about them, sometimes inserting sarcasm.
When Justin blogs, he mainly writes, using words longer than 5 letters and correct punctuation, sometimes adding pictures.
Anyway, how many of you caught the new title picture?
Those lovely pictures would be from our visit to the pumpkin patch. Yes, I’m going to play catch up so you may once again get your quota of photos.
That and not much else is going on here.
The patch we went to this year was more like an amusement park/center than just a plain old pumpkin patch. So, it was a bit pricey but we all had fun.
Elisha and Marina enjoyed the cow ride.
And Malachi enjoyed the simple maze.
The duck races were fun for all except Elisha, who wasn’t pumping correctly. He ended up spending the next 10 minutes throwing a fit over the outcome.
He calmed down by the time we hit the end of the petting zoo.
Which was good since next up was the pumpkin launcher and bounce houses. No pictures of those.
We moved on to a spider web rope maze.
Followed by some road bikes enjoyed by all of us.
After our legs were tired, everyone (except maybe the Muma) went down the slides.
And it’s lovely to watch your kids take out other adults.
Next up, the dreaded photo which no one wanted to cooperate for.
While I was trying to get everyone to smile, this was the best Justin could take. I’m thinking he wasn’t into it either since you can see people in the background, everyone is off center and it’s not at their level. Hmmmmmm.
Anyway, it was time for the corn maze.
The kids were NOT excited about the maze. Cora threw a fit (Justin is going back to pick her up) and Marina thought she was going to die she was walking so far. So, we ended up creating our own path out (not that hard when you visit on Oct 30th).
Then we spent a few minutes in the corn box…..
……picked out some pumpkins (not included in the admission)……….
……..and drove home.
Does anyone want to guess how much admission was?

Looks like fun! $15/ticket?
That must have been a great place -- I see even Tom Brady was there!
