Natural extremes…highest waterfall…day 6

We had two full days in Yosemite, but weren’t sure what was open. So the first place we went was Yosemite Valley – the most visited tourist place – which we knew would have an open visitors’ center. They gave us a couple hikes that were ok for kids. We did one that morning to a waterfall, which was more than enough fun for us.

We headed back for lunch, and then went down to see the sequoias in Yosemite. We saw a lot more there than Sequoia National Park. It was also probably the most fun the kids had outside a pool. They spent the entire walk in playing in the snow. They spent the entire walk back – all downhill on slippery ice and snow – running and sliding.

You guys have wonderful idea for trips and have had quite aqn adventure. I wonder what the kids will think in 20 years.
